The unqualified index will affect the power generation and power quality of the photovoltaic power station." Li Weichun, General Manager of Greater China of Germany's Rhine TüV Solar and Fuel Cell Division, said.
 
"From the perspective of standardization of China's photovoltaic industry, there are many industries involved, covering solar energy resource forecasting and evaluation, photovoltaic power plant design and other industries. The continuous updating of technology and the year-on-year decline in costs have promoted the rapid development of the photovoltaic industry, and standards also need to carry out a series of 'formulation-implementation-revision' work in accordance with the technological 'innovation-application-re-innovation' process." Lu Chenyu revealed that the China Electrical Appliance Industry Association has compiled and formed a standard system framework for photovoltaic power generation equipment in the photovoltaic field, covering 8 aspects such as photovoltaic modules, support components, control and protection devices, etc. At present, the revision of standards including photovoltaic modules, combiner boxes, control and protection has been organized.
 
In addition to the standard specifications, improving its own quality and technical level is also an urgent problem for photovoltaic inverters. "It's not that domestic manufacturers can't produce high-quality products, but that the lowest price winning bid for domestic projects causes manufacturers to sacrifice product quality to achieve price reduction." Li Weichun suggested that the whole industry should put an end to the lowest price winning projects, win by quality, and ensure reliable and stable power generation of photovoltaic power stations for 25 years. At the same time, the evaluation criteria and system of product quality should be optimized accordingly, and the evaluation mechanism based on the cost of electricity should be guided with reference to the successful experience of foreign countries.
